What is Vision+?
Vision+ contains a patented combination of the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin – pigments found in the macula, a small and highly sensitive area at the centre of the retina at the back of the eye.
The macula is responsible for distinguishing colours, fine detail and central vision, which is vital for activities such as reading, writing, and driving.
Research has shown that healthy eyes contain higher levels of both lutein and zeaxanthin. These key carotenoids filter damaging, high-energy blue wavelength light by as much as 90%. Blue light is emitted in significant amounts by the screens of our phones, tablets and other digital devices.
Vision+ has a unique lycopene-based delivery system in which the natural tomato extract sacrifices itself to be oxidised so that lutein and zeaxanthin are delivered intact to the macula.
The lutein and zeaxanthin in Vision+ come from the marigold flower, a naturally high source of the key carotenoids.
