What is Liver Support?
Our liver is an amazing organ: it cleanses the blood and removes toxins present in the body, as well as helping to regulate glucose and cholesterol. It also makes bile, essential for breaking down fats during digestion.
Getting older, together with a poor diet, a sedentary lifestyle and being overweight can put a strain on this hard working organ. We cannot detox our liver, but in addition to exercise and diet, the right nutrients and food can help us support our liver health for longer.
Liver Support has been specifically formulated to provide all the required nutrients to support a healthy liver.
Choline is a vitamin-like essential nutrient necessary for liver function. Fat and cholesterol can accumulate in the liver if we don't get enough, which is a risk factor for disease in the long term. Milk thistle, a plant related to artichokes and dandelions, has been extensively researched for its potential benefits in the liver.
Liver Support also contains a healthy ageing blend comprising all the key micronutrients needed to maintain the general health of the over 50s together with enhanced bioavailability and absorption.
