What is Turmeric+?
Turmeric has 53 different names in Sanskrit, each describing a special quality that ancient Indians attributed to their beloved spice, from survana (golden colour), to bhadra (auspicious or lucky).
The many research institutions studying turmeric’s special qualities today focus on curcumin, its active ingredient. Our patented turmeric formulation has been the subject of more research studies than any other comparable supplement, including studies at facilities like the High Performance Sports Centre in Barcelona, Spain.
Each Turmeric+ tablet contains 500mg of Curcuma Phospholipid Complex, a unique combination of curcumin with soy lecithin that is 30x more absorbable than standard turmeric, making sure your body gets more of the good stuff.
Each tablet also contains vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage. It also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Turmeric+ has been officially recognised and certified by Informed-Sport, an international body that ensures supplements are produced to a high standard and can be used in professional sport. Every batch of Turmeric+ is rigorously tested for quality and for banned substances at the organisation’s world-class laboratory, ensuring it can be used safely by elite athletes.
Is it safe to take Turmeric+ if I get COVID-19?
Yes, we believe it is safe to take if you contract COVID-19. Although coronavirus is a new virus and we know relatively little about it, no negative interactions have been described between curcumin and other similar retroviruses. In fact, data from in vitro studies (studies done in cells in culture) with other retroviruses suggests that curcumin may inhibit virus replication. If you have further concerns, please speak with your doctor or local pharmacist.
